Reduction of fluorinated gases

The European Union has set a goal to minimise the environmental impact of fluorinated gases by reducing the CO2-equivalent consumption of HFCs.
Regulation 517/2014 prescribes a gradual reduction of HFCs, with the quantity of HFCs placed on the market being gradually reduced by the allocation of quotas by the European Commission.
The phase-down targets in question are expressed in CO2 equivalents (= kg x GWP — Global Warming Potential) and aim to reduce HFC consumption by up to 79% in 2030.
The regulation comes into force with the aim of encouraging the industry and its consumers to switch to refrigerants with a lower GWP.

Refrigerant R32
R32 refrigerant contributes to the achievement of fluorinated gas regulation targets as described in EU Regulation 517/2014. R32 refrigerant air conditioners have a Global Warming Potential (GWP) value of 675, which is significantly lower than that of R410A's GWP (2088). high refrigeration capacity and high thermal conductivity,
which also means high efficiency and reduction in charging volume.
Samsung's product ranges with Single Split for Residential (RAC), Multi Split (FJM) and Commercial Split (CAC) with a range of up to 12 kW work with R32 refrigerant.
We care about the environment
We are aware of the effect of the creation of appliances and the effect on climate change and environmental protection, and we strive to play our part in stimulating the sustainable development of our society.
ALPIN appliances are environmentally friendly and highly energy-efficient, in line with the objectives set out in the European Union Action Plan 20/20/20 and with the guidelines for air conditioning equipment set out in the Ecodesign Directive (ErP).
The R32 refrigerant and the long-lasting sustainable materials used in Alpin air conditioners have a high value in the ecological cycle, creating a smaller carbon and electronic footprint.
